Sunnyside Gardens is a landmarked district of brick row houses built in the twenties around shared courtyards, with front doors at ground level and no elevator anywhere. The rest of the neighbourhood runs on pre war co-op walk ups along Skillman Avenue, 43rd Street and Queens Boulevard, most of them four to six floors.
Neither kind has a loading zone. The blocks are alternate side and the courtyards are shared space, so we carry in from the street and keep equipment off the planted areas. Tell us which side of the street you are on when you book.
The upside is the distance. Sunnyside is roughly fifteen minutes from our East Harlem base over the Queensboro Bridge, so short notice appointments here are realistic in a way they are not further east. Past the county line the same visits become Long Island bookings, which we schedule differently.
