Every constraint we plan around in the city disappears out here. A driveway, so nothing is timed around alternate side. A front door at ground level, so nothing goes up five flights. No board, no super, no elevator window, so you set the appointment rather than the building does.
What replaces them is volume. A house holds four or five times the upholstery of a one bedroom, over three floors, including a basement that stays damp all year. So visits are planned room by room and quoted whole, not piece by piece.

How far east do you go?
All of Nassau County and the western edge of Suffolk. Further east than Huntington or Babylon we would rather tell you honestly that the drive is too long than take the booking and turn up late.
Do I need a certificate of insurance?
Almost never for a private house, which is the main difference from working in the city. Condo and HOA managed communities sometimes ask for one, and if yours does we issue it at no charge. Send the exact name the management company uses.
Our furniture is in a finished basement. Does that change anything?
It changes the drying, not the cleaning. Below grade rooms hold humidity year round, so a sofa down there takes longer to dry and often smells musty before it looks dirty. Below grade rooms get an extra extraction pass and an air mover left behind, because a basement will not dry itself.
Is a five section sectional worth hiring out, or should I rent a machine?
At five sections, hire it out. A rental machine leaves detergent in the fabric and runs on hard tap water that dries as white rings, and a sectional that size is four hours of work with a weak vacuum. We quote sectionals by section, agreed with you before anything starts.
